What happens when you use the repair option under the
support tab? Are you on a router or hooked directly to
the modem? I am going to assume you are highspeed..

Often with duel Internet connections Windows doesn't view
the Internet correctly, even if one of the two isn't
working. To use dialup you must first disable the non-
working LAN / Broadband connection.
If you are connected directly to your modem it could be a
PPPoE error if you use DSL. Also make sure the DSL/Cable
modem connection lights are correct.
If you are using a router to filter your IP address try
cycling the router (unplug for 10 seconds then plug back
in). If this works your router is failing.
