XP User Profiles connection problems

I have recently discovered that when I switch to a
different user profile other than my own, I am unable to
obtain an internet connection, either wirelessly or LAN at
home or work. I spent hours on phone with manfctr support
and unable to determine problem. I tried deleting user
profiles and creating new ones to no avail. I have tried
numerous other things as well. I am fed up w/ trying to
find out why switching profiles creates this problem. Any
help out there?
