I have two XP Pro systems that were connected to a Win2K Small Business Server Domain Controller. The DC was rebuilt with new hardware and reinstalled.
Windows 2000 SBS (Same name, IP and Domain name)
SP4
Critical updates
Problem: Win2000 Professional clients linked back to domain without an issue (Created users and computers in AD)
XP - Will not and DC reports that Trust due to changed SID is the issue. How can the trust be re-established without removing the XP machines from the domain and rejoining them. I wish to avoid XP changing the user account locations with all it's attendant issues.
