XP pro networking

I have 2 pc's networked at home the host can see and get
into the files etc on the client, but the client can not
get into the host and not get on the internet, yet I have
done everything that it asked of me and gave the client
permission to access the host and every time I try to
access the host it says I dont have permission.
Any Idears guys
