I have not yet installed and Antivirus nor do I have the firewall turned on.
When I open IE or Firefox, I see they find yahoo and wait for a reply, then
time out. I have no trouble from anyother computer in the house.

I can ping the router, yahoo and any other site. For some reason, IE and
FireFox just don't see replies from the connected device. There is not
security devie involved what so ever. It is just Microsoft and the
Internet. The Wireless card I am using is workinng fine. I uninstalled
TCP/IP and all other network services and reinstalled them. When I run Net
View I get error 53.

Vista lost Internet connection ...Vista lost Internet connection - fixed by
netsh winsock ... winsock reset After that I just rebooted and everything
was back to normal. "rwbta" wrote: ...
