Default XP Home CD destroyed my computer?

To setup a home network, I setup an XP computer first (by running the
network setup wizard) and then put an XP home CD to a computer running
windows 2000, then the windows 2000 computer seem dead locked. I forced the
windows 2000 to shutdown, and then no mater what I did, the windows 2000
computer never boot again. What happened?

Please help!

Default Re: XP Home CD destroyed my computer? Sorry, it's okay now.

Now it looks okay. This may be the Windows 2000 computer's problem, it's 6
years old. However the home network still unable to setup. I'll post the
problem separately.
