Default Wirerless connections slows down

Hello,
I am using the microsoft at home usb external networking
on one of my computers. I notice and often I will drop
from 11mbps to 1mbps of course this slows my connection
up a bit. When this happens the other computer on the
same wirerless connection do not have this problem, can
anyone point me in the right direction?
