I have been using my laptop with 2 separate wireless
networks. I have the same WEP code for both networks.
Recently, I have been unable to view the available
wireless networks when I right-click the wireless
networking tray icon. Thus, when I have to switch
networks, I have to go to the Microsoft Broadband Utility
and connect to the desired network. Previously, this
would occur automatically. Any suggestions?
Has the WEP been turned off on one of the wifi zones recently, by default XP will not connect automatically to a non encrypted wireless zone. Also make sure that the 2 networks are listed in the prefered networks list (right click tray icon / view available / advanced / wireless networks) add it if it isnt in there.
