Default Wireless network diagnosis

We have 3 pc's running xp pro on a wireless network. Last week one of the
pc's stopped communicating & took a long time to get it back. Really don't
know what I did to get it going again. Week before that another pc did the
same. What do you use to diagnose network problems? TIA
