Default wireless diagnosis

We have 3 pc's on a wireless LAN. Last week one just stopped talking to the
others. Week before that another pc did the same. Spent a lot of time
getting them going & still don't know what brought them up.
What do you suggest/use to diagnose wireless network problems. TIA
