I recently purchased a new PC with Windows XP Home edition
and Linksys 802.11g router and 802.11g wireless client.
After I set them up successfully, I am loosing the
connection and cannot reconnect to the network unless I
either Restart my computer or eject and then re-insert the
wireless client.
I searched Microsoft website and found that similar
problem was mentioned in KB828940: "Wireless Client Cannot
Reconnect to a Wireless Access Point".

Yes, there's a fix. To get it, contact Microsoft Product Support
Services, as described in that KB article.
When you contact them:
1. Tell them that you have the problem described in KB article 828940.
2. Request the hotfix.
3. Ask them to waive the charge for the support call, as described in
the article.
4. Don't ask for help with any other issue.
