Default Windows XP Home File sharing

Is there a maximum or recomended maximum file size when
sharing accross a XP Home netowrk. We have a 80mb file in
a networkable accounting package which we are trying to
share but the connection simply hangs and times out.
Would usually use XP Pro is such an environment, but the
clieent has been sold XP Home and assured that this
should work !!
Any help would be appreciated !!
