At one point while connected to a LAN I was able to
connect the company email Server (prior to connecting I
would get a Logon box). Now that doesn't happen. Any
ideas?
No changes to the PC recently or at all. The email did go
down and another one brought on-line.

Is the company email server on a domain or workgroup? The one thing you can't
do with XP Home is connect it to a domain. Other than that, and the fact that
XP Home is limited to 5 simultaneous shared connections (XP Pro is limited to
10), XP Home is just as capable as XP Pro.
What OS name and version is the email server running? Is the Guest account
active on both computers, with identical passwords?

Chuck
