I have been using windows mail program for a couple of months but it seems to
have some bugs.
When trying to open an attached link on an E-mail i get the msg.
"Application not found".
Should i remove the program completely and reinstall?
Thanks, Jules.
Hi
Attachment can be Doc. files, pictures, pdf, zip, etc. The email program
itself can not open an attached file unless it has an extension for it, or
an application that can open a certain type of file is configured to open
it.
Example, if the attachment is a pdf file an application that can open pdf
file has to installed on your computer and assigned as default application
to open pdf files.

What kind of attachment is it? You say an "attached link" (which is
sort of an oxymoron). Is it a link to a website or a file actually
attached to the message?

It makes no difference. Could be a JPG. Word or other type of file, or a link
to another site.
Jules.
