Default Windows Explorer problem

When I go to My Network Places and open it up and then go
to Shared Documents and try and open a folder one of my
computers will say that Windows Explorer has encounterd
an error and must close. It then makes the desktop clear
of icons for about 10 seconds and then puts them all
back. The other computer works fine and I can open the
folders without any problems. Any ideas on what's causing
this and how to fix it so that I can access the files on
the second computer?
