Default win 2k server and XP

I am the network administrator for a large high school. We
run win 2k server, win 2k pro for most of our client
machines and a few XP pro clients. The problem I am having
is that XP does not pull down the group policy from active
directory the same as win 2k pro. All the restrictions
that are enforced on the win 2k clients are not enforced
on the XP clients, i.e. settings, display properties, my
network places are all removed on the 2k clients but are
fully accessable on the XP clients.

Default win 2k server and XP

I have noticed a lag in GP replication on Windows XP
workstations. Generally, I allow for ten minutes in
order for the changed GP to replicate to the WS's.
