Default What TCP/IP configuration for wireless?

Hi,
I am trying to connect home PC to a centrino wireless ibm notebook. It doesn't work, IBM software stops at "Waiting for an IP configurations..." when trrying to connect...

What do I need to set for my TCP/IP configuration?
Obtain an IP address automaticaly or do I specify some IP address?
Also, what about DHCP and other settings like netbios...?
Please, help!

Daniel
