Default What does "Target" mean when network browsing?

Hi All,

Sometimes when I am at a customer site, I
will use Windows Explorer to find various
network shares. Occasionally, after clicking
on the root of share, I will get an icon
titled "Target". If I click on it, the share
opens as normal -- no harm no foul. It doesn't
hurt anything. I have had this happen on both
Windows Servers and Linux Samba servers.

Any idea what this benign "Target" is? I am
just real curious.

Many thanks,
-T
