Default WEP=No DHCP?????

Hello!

This is a wireless 802.11b network that recently enabled
WEP. About 3 days after enabling WEP, two XP Pro
computers can no longer get DHCP addresses (other XP Pro
computers can, as can 98 and XP Home computers). All of
the 20 computers on this network use the same NIC.
Disable WEP, and all is well.

I've tried:
-updating and reinstalling the drivers
-another NIC
-another brand of NIC
-resetting the IP stack through NETSH
-checking all system files through SFC
-Vendor tech support gave up. They said to reload the OS.

I REALLY don't want to reload the OS. Anyone have any
ideas why WEP=No DHCP?

Thanks in advance!

Disable the firewalls in the XP machine network setups. This
worked for me. Might also have to reboot all the machines in
the lan after you disable the firewalls.
