I cannot get IE to connect to a website outside of my network. I have already tried the following:
1. I have a correct IP address on my network, subnet mask and gateway
2. I can ping my computers on the local network
3. I can ping my router
4. I can ping my DSL Modem
5. I can ping servers on the internet with names so I know DNS is working
6. I have also tried trace route to an internet server and this also works.
7. Norton Internet Security was installed and I uninstalled it - this also did not help.
Check your Internet Options, Connections, LAN settings and
make sure you have the correct information(If any). You
may just need to check off "Auto Detect settings."
