VPN Setup binds to dial-up

I am trying to re-establish my VPN connectio over
internet since I deleted it after Windows reported that
the Miniport driver was no available.

During Set-up, I answer all the questions as is called
for:
Connect to the Network at my Workplace (VPN)
VPN Connection
Company Name
Do Not Dial The Initial Connection
IP Address of RAS

But it sets it up like a dial-up and not direct internet
connection. My network appears to be working
