Default virus W32/Zafi.b@MM effect on TCP/IP

Greetings,
The W32/Zafi.b@MM virus was downloaded onto my machine. I
used McAfee's Stinger tool to eliminate the files the
virus had corrupted. Unfortunately, I still cannot
connect to the Internet. It's not my ISP, as I'm properly
assigned an IP and can send out packets, just not receive
any (I pinged Comcast by IP). Perhaps it's some winsock
error, but I don't know enough to mess around there. Can
anyone please help me with this problem?
Thanks,
