USB Flash drive tries to map to existing mapped drive
When I install and 'populate' my usb flash disk it defaults to an already mapped network drive. I have physical drives A-F utilized and then have a number of mapped network drives starting at G. If I have already booted, the flash disk does not populate automatically, and will only set to G. If I boot with the flash disk connected it will populate to G and my mapped drive network drive will not be present.
Re: USB Flash drive tries to map to existing mapped drive
Connect the flash drive, boot the system. Then go into Device Manager and
remove the flash drive from the hardware listing. Shut down the system and
remove the flash drive. Restart and let your network drives map. Then
reconnect the flash drive. Does it get a different drive letter now?
