Please help me! I've tried to research this problem, but
have not been able to solve it. I am unable to see SSL
pages (including that of my bank which I normally log on
to daily). I've made sure the SSl boxes are checked
in "internet options" tools, and checked the FIPS
cryptography. I'm not sure exactly what that means, I
followed the directions. Now what? Thank you!!!
This usually happens if you use a proxy server to connect to the internet, goto Tools / Options / Connections / Lan settings
If the tick box for use proxy server is enabled click the advanced button, make sure the tick box for use same for all protocols is ticked.
This will usually sort it.
If you use dialup goto Tools / Options / Connections click the dialup profile you use then click settings and the proxy options are there.
Hope that helps
