Default Unable to connect to the internet despite signal on wireless receiver

To whom it may concern,
I've been having this bad problem that no one so far could
have solved. I'm using a Linksys WUSB 11 ver 2.6 adapter
(wireless) to connect to the internet through my router. I
can connect, it shows the signal strength and the Wireless
Newtowk COnnection indicator shows that i'm connected, but
when i try to go online i am unable to do so. When i check
the status of my connection, "sent" is being changed,
but "received" stays at zero. Any suggestions? I'd
appreciate some...

Thank you,
Tommy

What does your access point say, does it see your computer?
See if Linksys has updated drivers, re-run your network
setup wizard.
Can you ping your access point? Can you ping and ip
address? Can you ping Yahoo.com? What have you changed
since this problem?
