Default Unable to attach to Domain after Upgrade to Pro

A user has upgraded their home computer using the Pro
Upgrade so they could join our domain at work. I am
unable to accomplish this (see error message below) and
suspect there is some "hook" preventing their computer
from joining the domain.

I have not found much on this issue but did find article
814003.

Can you provide some direction to resolving this? I don't
want to have to load a full blown Pro version just to
resolve this.

Computer Name Changes (Title bar)
The following error occurred attempting to join the
domain "Domain".
Incorrect Function

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
