a laptop with XP pro as well. my desktop is setup with a
workgroup but my laptop is setup to a domain for office
use. i managed to get both of the pcs connected by
setting up my desktop as host and my laptop as guest using
a null modem serial cable. the connection speed is max at
115.2KBPS. i also shared my host entire hardisk (2nd
partition).
