Default Revert to Simple File Sharing mode

How can I revert to simple file sharing mode?

We're running a P2P network of 4 XP Pro machines.

After moving a hard disk to another machine we've managed to screw up
file permissions for it and for some reason cannot get any other PCs
to save to the drive.

File Sharing is currently in Advanced mode but for some reason it will
not allow me to add permissions for users on other machines.

I've done all those obvious 'taking ownership' type things but it's
not helping.

I remember a similar situation a couple of years ago which I managed
to fix by reverting to simple file sharing mode and then going back
into advanced mode to sort it out properly.

Trouble is, I can't remember how I managed to turn advanced file
sharing mode off.

Any ideas?

If you can, un-share all the shared folders and drives first. Then
turn on simple file sharing:

1. Open My Computer.
2. Click Tools | Folder Options | View.
3. Scroll to the end of the advanced settings.
4. Check "Use simple file sharing (recommended)".
