Default Removing a search engine option

Not sure if this is the right forum for this question. Recently, I've noticed
there is a Russian (???) search option in my toolbar. I clicked on the menu
bar where you manage search engines and removed it, However if I type in a
site incorrectly, it still comes up every now and then. Don't see it as a
listing in my Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel. Hope someone replies
so I can remove it. Not sure if it is malware.
