Default removal of mutiple USB to Ethernet adapters

I am trying to unisatll all ot he USB to Eternet adapters
from device manager. System will not allow it, "devcie
may bay used to start computer" is the message I get. I
am runnig Win XP Home. For some reason, mutiple adapters
(7 of them) have shown up and they are conflicting with
each other IE: The same IP address is asigned to each one.

Hi Charles,

Try removing your hardware from computer, then run device manager. Under
view check "show hidden devices. Then try to remove all problematic
hardware. Hope this helps.

Default Re: removal of mutiple USB to Ethernet adapters

I spoke with my tech support (that is provided by the biulder of the pc) about this issue. His suggestion was to go into the registry and manualy delet the references to the device. this worked :-) however, I reinstalled the Usb adapter per the destrutions, and I am right back where I was.

any other sugestions

The propduct is a USB adapter model # MN-110 driver ver is 1.0.

Is there an update for this driver?
Does MS even know that there is a problem with it?
Where can I get support for this thing?
I went to the support web site an it is asking me for a PID can't find it.

thanks

Charles
