Remember Password box unavailable when mapping network drive

Here is the problem, I have mapped to a network drive using one set of
credentials but now I want to change credentials to that network share. When
I disconnect the mapped drive and then re-map it, it automaticaly maps under
the old credentials of course, but when I hit the connect using a different
user name it does not give me the option to Remember the password like it did
the very first I ever mapped the drive. Yes I am using Windows XP Pro. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Steve,

Disconnect the drive and reconnect it using the "NET USE" command. Remember
/SAVECRED and /PERSISTENT:YES

That should sort you out.
