All versions of Windows can share printers with each other. Each
computer needs the right drivers installed on it, i.e. 98 drivers on
98, and XP drivers on XP.
Make sure that you've shared the printer on 98. XP should
automatically detect the shared printer. If it doesn't, go to Control
Panel | Printers and Other Hardware | Printers and Faxes, click "Add a
printer", and install it as a network printer.
If that doesn't help, please post a news group reply with details of
the problem: what you've done, how you're trying to print from XP,
what exactly happens (or doesn't happen) when you try to print,
complete text of all error messages, etc. I'm sure that someone can
help.
