"Program files are not accessable" "Access denied"
I have two machines running on XP Home. They are connected thru a
router. My machine A can see the second machine B. I have a mapped
drive from A to B. I can interrogate files except the Program files
whereby I get the Access Denied error signal. I have tried to
correct this problem by reading many articles but on no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry, but that's how Windows XP Home Edition works when it's
installed on an NTFS disk partition. It blocks network access to the
Program Files and Windows folders and to individual users' folders
within Documents and Settings. I don't know why Microsoft designed it
that way.
You can share subfolders within those folders, e.g. you can share
"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express" or "C:\Documents and
Settings\Username\Desktop" and access that folder from another
computer on the network.
