Default Problems with accessing home network with three XP home computers

I've just bought a belkin ADSL Modem with built in router and have set up a home network with three PCs each using XP home. The network seemed to work at first then I started getting the message MS Home is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The network path was not found. I get this message on all three machines. I used the Network wizard to set up each machine. Each machine can access the internet.

I've turned off XP's firewall on each machine. Two of the machines have Norton Internet security and the firewall has been configured to allow home networking. I've tried uninstalling norton but that didn't work.

The computer browser service is started on each machine.

Netbios over TCP/IP is enabled

It seems from the various discussion groups that this is a fairly common problem but there doesn't seem to be a simple answer.

It would be great if you could simply uninstall the network settings somehow and reinstall.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The old man
