Default Panda Firewall causes internet connectivity issues

I want to post an issue that the Panda Firewall component causes in both
wired and wireless connections.

Last year in an update to Panda Internet Security 2007, a new component was
added to the properties of any connection. This component is the Panda NDIS
IM Filter.

In Wireless NIC connections it immediately causes loss of connectivity.

In Wired connections it allows internet connectivity, but stops internal
network connectivity.

To fix this issue this component needs to be either disabled, by removing
the check mark in front of the component, in the connection Properties on the
page with all the other Protocols, or can be competely removed by
uninstalling it.

To uninstall just click to select, and click Remove.

Panda informed me this is only an issue with DSL connections, but as I do
not have any connection other than DSL I can not attest if that is true.
Panda informed me this issue was resolved in the 2008 release but this is
*not* true, as that is the version currently used on my networked systems.

I hope this helps somebody else who faces the issue.

I want to than PChuck's network for helping for discover the issue and fix
the problem.
