Default No Active Network Adaptors

Ok. Recently my computer got a virus and went down. Well
everything is back up and running but my network. I have
been running windows xp professional. I tried the wizard
to get it back up and it keeps saying it was successfull
but I am not getting anything. I hit control+alt+delete.
And it says under the network tab that I have no active
network adaptors. My driver is installed (I even
reinstalled it to see it that was the problem), I
reinstalled windows (ran the repair program), and even
bought a new newtork hub to check that.

Any advice or help?

I am tring to concect to my main computer which is an xp
home edition, as well as a computer running 98, and one
with ME. all were hooked up and running at one time. but
now they all are down.
