Default Networking with wireless access point

Hello. I am trying to set up a network using two XP
machines. One is connected via RJ45 to a wireless access
point and the other is a wireless laptop. Both PCs are
able to use the internet connection, but when I tried to
create a network using the XP wizard, I cannot get the
two PC's to see each other. The laptop isn't even able
to see itself after running the wizard. The workgroup
for both PCs are identical.

The laptop gives me an error when trying to view the
network saying I don't have access (asking for username
and password). I don't recall a password when using the
wizard. However, for the wired PC, I am able to see
itself within the workgroup.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
