ive read in multiple places that you can access music
across a home network. i want to be able to play music
from one computer, where the file is actually on a
different one. any help? thx
Provided that your network is able to sustain the bitrate for the .mp3 or
whatever format you may use, you could simply share the music files
directory and play them in your favorite player over the network.
An 100Mbs network is usually more than enough. Even a 10Mbs network could be
good enough (assuming not much other traffic).
