Default Network setup wizard

I have the internet network set up between my
Windows XP and windows 98se. I am now trying to set up
so I can share files.
When I get into the Network connection wizard on the
computer connected to the wireless router, there are 3
choices. The one I want is "this computer connects
directly to the internet.....". When I choose that, I
get a screen that says "cannot complete the network setup
wizard. Other computers cannot connect to the net thru
this computer".
It does not give any instruction to correct. What
am I doing wrong. Please help!!!!! Thanks

Don't believe you're really connecting to the internet
directly, you should be pointing at the router instead.
Try the option that your computer is part of a "home"
network. If the router has a specific IP address you
might have to point at it as a gateway. The router
instructions should tell you all that versus a dynamic IP.

Good luck.
