I have a simple network using an ADSL router. All PC's can access WWW via the router and its BT Broadband connection.
One PC, running XP Pro can "net use LPT1: \\server_name\printer_name /persistent:yes" ok.
Same command on an XP Home edition PC returns error 66 "The resource type is not correct"
I've spent days trying all sorts of Web suggestions without luck.
Any ideas ??
Re: Network Printer "Resource type is not correct"
Hi - OT, but is there some actual need to map to the LTP port? Why not just
add the network printer?
