I have XP running on a Pentium 4 with a 10 Mbps DSL
internet connection.
Until recently my PC auto connected to the network upon
XP startup; now, after booting I have to go to 'Network
Connections', 'Broadband', and 'Verizon' (my ISP) then
choose 'Connect'. Thereafter the connection comes up
normally.
How do I get back to having the connection come up
automatically again? It would be nice to connect without
my having to hover around to manually go throu the
process each time.
Drop a shortcut to your network connection into your
startup folder.
