Default network card and XP 64 bit

I have windows XP X64 along with an Intel dual processor cpu...

my problem is finding a ethernet card that will work with the 64 bit system

anyone out there have a solution? I have checked all the major card makers,
d-link, linksys and numerous others...

would appreciate any info on this

There are only a 'select: few makers of network adapters that have
drivers for XP 64bit. Usally, if the company makes adapters for
servers, they should provide 64bit drivers. Check with Intel
(www.intel.com.) Their Pro/1000 card "seem" to have 64bit drivers.
as per their web site.

Hi...

thanks for the info... seems only pci express cards are 64bit compatable..
trying to find a pci 64bit compatable since my pci express is taken up with
video
