need help asap

setting up win xp on my mom's puter at work. Win 98
worked fine and her network was all set up on it. Go to
set it up on Win xp and it's telling me the computers
domain name isn't located on the server. the domain name
is correct. what steps do i go through to set up her
computer on the server? it's connected through an
ethernet card. She logs into the network with user name
and password. need to path to a workgroup on the
server. i used to do network on puters awhile ago and
thought i could do it but i guess i've forgotten stuff.
The server is Win NT. HELP!!!! Need to know each step
to setup... THANKS

What you will need to do, is to go to the domain
controller, delete her computer out and then add it back
in again. That should solve the problem.

so if I goto the network server and delete her computer
then readd it should work??
