Default My network places not populated

I can’t get the shared folders to show up in my network places any more.
I have 3 computers networked all running windows XP Professional. I can see and access them all in “View workgroup computers” and can transfer files from all of the shared folders. I can access the net on all three and my firewalls are turned off.
When I first ran the networking wizard all the shared folders showed up in my network places but I had to alter some files and things and deleted the old ones out of my network places. Now I can not get the new ones to show up! I tried running the setup wizard and restarting the computer right clicking and clicking refresh but my network places are sill blank!
There must be a trick to this right?
Pleas help!
Thanks, Carriann
PS if you ask me to "ping' I know what it is but I don't know quite how to do it.

Carriann,

it can take a while until they show up. Otherwise please have a
look at http://www.michna.com/kb/WxNetwork.htm.
