Default Linksys Router & SMC Wireless Card

Not sure this is the right area to post. I have worked
with Linksys 4 times to reset the communications between
my Comcast Highspeed Modem, my Linksys Router, and my SMC
Wireless Modem card. Each time I get remote Internet
access set up but when I turn off my computer, it dies
out. The IP is not the problem, as I can hook up
directly and get the web. Linksys has now punted and
said I need a patch from Microsoft. I am completely up
to date on the fixes so now I am out of options to fix.

Can anyone help?? Thanks
