Can anyone help with this, I would like to send messages
to other terminals on our LAN. I am aware that there is a
DOS method but think that this is to cumbersome. Are
there any alternatives out there?
1. "winchat" which is built-in to XP.
2. Use the "net send computer-name message" command at a command line prompt.
3. http://www.realpopup.it/
