Default IP conflict

i want to share my wireless internet connection w/ my xbox using a cross over cable... the wirless connection is avaiable using a usb card... so i can conect to the internet fine using the pc, but i want to share that connection w/ the xbox, but when i click on share w/ other computers, it says, "ip conflict, another computer on the network is using the IP needed for automatic IP configuring" it doesn't say that exactly, but that is the jist of it... how do i change the IP for the others, and how do i know what IP i need to change, i changed the ip of my routher from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.15, but still same problem... so how do i do it? any help would be appreciated....

Default Re: IP conflict

Try hooking up your XBox directly to the router, using a basic cable. Do not
hook it up to your computer with internet connection sharing with a
crossover cable because there may be restrictions and your computer and xbox
will have to use the same IP Address on your router. (i.e. Computer's IP:
192.168.0.1, XBox: 192.168.0.1), as if you hook the XBox up to the router
directly, they will have different IPs (i.e. Computer's IP: 192.168.0.1,
XBox: 192.168.0.2).
