Hi, I have a home network and i'm having problems with
the "Internet Gateway" icon in the "Network Connections"
folder.
Sometimes the icon is there and sometimes not. When it is
there and I go on its properties to open some ports,
these often delete in a few days and I have to go through
the process again. Anybody know why this is happening?
Most of the time the icon is not there, I got told to
enable Universal Plug and Play which I have done but
still doesn't work. Does anybody know how to get
the "Internet Gateway" icon to stay on all the time?
Firewalls often interfere with the icon. Also various routers have bugs in
their firmware, you might see if there is an update for your router.
