Internet Connection Sharing

I have managed to set up I Cable home Network Connection between 3 Computers (1 Host & 2 Client), Sometimes I can manage to connect to the internet using the client computers but after 10 or 15 mins the connection drops out.
Can Anybody help

How did you connect these machines together? Router?
Wireless?
Here's something that comes to mind:
Check the power settings on your LAN card on the host
computer. Make sure that you do not allow Windows to
power down the card to save power.
