Default Internet

Hello, I have a dell latitude win xp and I can't get the internet to work using the lan cable. Under TCP/IP I have the IP address being obtained automatically. I had no problems with my old toshiba win 2000 computer but this new one must need some adjustment. In network connections it says that LAN is connected and sending packets but just not recieving any.

Any suggestions would be greatly aprreciated....

Thanks,
Mark
